There are some secrets that ought to be kept, especially those which are also like treasure and a mystery, and in the end they carry the most absolute beauty. To keep a secret for generations, almost 3000 years! how is it possible? It was in his power to make this happen through firm decree “the people are clumsy and unable to understand the worth of such a wonder as this. Maybe it’s best if only a few know of this discovery. It is a timely endeavour that will, perhaps, bring greatness. Keep the secret.” For many centuries China jealously guarded the secret of silk-making.
